Frequently Asked Question

  1. Can I bring a DD (designated driver ) who is under 21 or someone that will not consume alcohol? Yes, Designated Drivers and non-drinkers are welcome to enjoy the music, beverages and food. Tickets for non-drinkers are only $10.00 for those 18+ years of age.

  2. What are some places that I can go to eat that are nearby after the festival? The festival is in the heart of downtown with many great spots to eat within walking distance. Such as Cribb’s Kitchen, El Paso Tacos & Tequila, Pokenori, Monsoon Noodle House, Mezcal, Delaney’s Irish Pub, The Kennedy, Grouchos, Miyako, Lime Leaf, etc…

  3. I want to continue the party after the festival, where should I go? Please be responsible and know your limits. If you wish to continue the festivities beyond the Beerfest, there are several great local establishments in Spartanburg. Just be sure to have a Designated Driver and get home safe, we want to see you back at Hub City Brewfest next year.

  4. Can I bring my pet(s) to the festival? While controllable, well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed they are not encouraged. The brew fest gets pretty crowded and folks with dogs behaving badly will be asked to leave without refunds.

  5. Can I purchase my tickets the day of the event? Yes, but we will have a limited number of tickets available.

  6. Can non-drinkers come to the festival? Yes, those of you who do NOT plan on drinking can also attend the festival and enjoy the local food, beverages, and music. Tickets are available for non-drinkers at only $10.00 for those 18+ years of age.

  7. Do I need to bring my ID? Yes, you do. South Carolina requires you to have an ID on your person if you wish to consume. Even if you’ve pre-ordered and paid for your tickets. Even if you think you look over 21. Even if your mom is with you (she needs her ID too).
